A colour photograph of The New English on an outdoor stage at the Wimbledon Festival in July 1987. A guitarist stands on the left, a player sings at the microphone on the right, and the drummer sits behind a kit at the back of the stage, in front of a white marquee, with rooftops and a summer sky behind. The amplifiers carry Union Jack stickers, and bunting runs along the front of the stage. It is the only photograph in the archive that shows the band playing live with a drummer.
