A colour photograph of three people sitting close together against a pale wall, from May 1986, the month the group took the name The New English. The person on the left wears dark glasses and a dark jacket, the one in the middle a white T-shirt and the one on the right a red cardigan. The picture has a soft, hazy finish around the edges, and it was used again as the cover image of the YouTube upload of Get Ready. It is the earliest photograph in the archive.
